What is the best method for my extensions if my hair is broken and damaged in the top of my head from pulling it(hair) up to wear drawstring pony tails? I do not have enough hair in the top to cover the tracks.
Wow I didnt know you could get that bad of damage just from pulling it up for drawstring ponytails. I would think that would be the safest hair addition ever.

Mabe a full weave, in which none of your natural hair is left out. Just make sure that you dont allow the stylist to braid your hair in a spiral pattern or you'll look like a cone head. This site http://www.hairvideomall.com/extensionvids.htm has a video (micro-lace video) that will teach you how to do a full weave.
If you don't have enough hair on top to cover the extensions, no matter what method you do, it will be visible. Now some people don't mind if you can see their extensions, so you have to decide if you would be comfortable with that.
Options that would work for you are either, getting a full head of braids, or wearing a hair piece, more commonly known as a 'topper'. That type of a hair piece is very light weight and blends in with your own hair. You can either clip in on or have it bonded on.
