for real short hair cuts i suggest you try using something like carrot
cream, shea butter, pink lotion or a regular hair grease like softee or
blue magic.
since your hair is short you don't really need to used pomade cause
pomades are more effective the longer your hair is. when i use to use
pomade i would wait until my hair grew to the point my scalp wasn't
visible or until my hair was the length of a dark ceasar and then use
pomade cause at that point is when my hair would start to really curl
and need some help holdin it down.
so i suggest to you to try using carrot cream, shea butter, pink lotion
or a regular hair grease like softee or blue magic when your hair is
real short and when you hair start to thicken up or get a lil nappy or
a lil out of control cause thats when pomade is most effective

i definitely wouldnt recommend murrays cause most of there pomades are very heavy and contains lots of wax for hold, which you do not need when your hair is very short. Like spinna said i recommend blue magic/ or softee, i used them both when my barber messed up my cut and gave me a light cease instead of dark, i just used them to add lots of shine to my dome. But , if you wanna use one of murrays pomades you should really use it when ya hair has been grown for about 2 - 3 weeks 2 weeks at minimum, 3 weeks at maximum. There is nothing wrong with using pomade when your hair is short, just make sure you have a soft brush, dont be trying to brush like T.I. length hair with a hard brush. That way your hair is trained when it has grown for 2 weeks just brush brush brush the pomade i recommend is.....just read my sig it says it all
"More people are beginning to stop using 360, and quite frankly that's all you need"
Murray's makes a light pomade....its the same thing as the orginal but its just a lot lighter...and it smells better too...its the same color can except it doesnt have the afro people on the front....i went out and bought some yesterday....they sell it at Walgreens and K Mart....i suggest that if you like usin Murray's...you go pick that up for sumthin light...

well if you using pomade for just hold, i would suggest you go with some let's jam instead of a pomade. it's lighter, keep your hair shining, smell better than most pomades, and hold real good. if pomade is yo thing, do what you do. but i made the switch to carrot cremem and let's jam and ain't got no complaints. but like i said it's your hair. do what you do.
The world is mine.
