I'm glad the family members and others have been located and are doing well. Yesterday, Oprah was in New Orleans and it was such a site...she dug deeper than the news and it was painful just to hear what had been going on and continues too. Hopefully, the survivors will be able to get counseling for such a tramatic even and live a normal day to day life

You guys, I signed up at the Red Cross together. I was lucky, they turned alot of people away because of over booking, but they can return in a few days. Crazy me , snuck my name on the list and was called to schedule my classes, I have to take 5 classes 4 of them are free but the cpr one is $57. I'm so excited but dissapointed at the same time, I wanted to help sooner but I can't assist the new commers until after October (my last class). They are in town, they didn't tell anyone but Red Cross told me they been in town for 2 days now...the radio said they were surrounded by police officers.
They also said there will be no gaurantee that I will be called...but I'm going to help either way I can. Also, they are paying people 1600 dollars to get a truck (mobile homes) to pick up some of the survivors and places for the workers to stay.
