I'm pretty new to loose extensions - being a dreads and braids sort
of girl, but I have a lot of friends who are allways clamouring for me
to do their hair - so I've been doing my research, practising a lot and
finally did my first install on a friend a few days ago.
I used the weft sandwiching with LG technique and although it came
out fantastic and is holding really well I have to say I found the Liquid
Gold hellish to work with - it seemed much thicker and gloopier than
I expected and hard to brush on, I seemed to spend the whole time
boiling the kettle and standing the bottle in hot water to try and make
it easier to work with. Is this normal or did I get a bad batch?

LOL...PQ, unfortunately yeah thats the reality of LG. I usually buy several small bottles so I dont have to deal with it once it starts getting real thick. It so much cheaper than the ChrissyV glue that I used to use that I dont mind tossing out a bit of LG is it gets too thick. Actually I dont toss it....I can deal with it being a little thicker to make individual strands, so I save my half bottles (that I get fed up with) for doing pretips. Yes it is hellish to work with...a pain the butt, for sure....but until I find a bonding glue that compares to the holding power, the inexpensiveness and easy/quick installs...Im stuck on LG for weft bonding.
