I want to grow my hair out and eventually have it like Matthew McConaughey or the tennis player Lleyton Hewitt.  Do girls like this hair look?  What does it take to pull this hair style off?

I've had short hair most of my life, mostly spiked.  Also, i noticed, that most guys' hair always looks like it is wet when it is longer.  Why is that?

im doing the same thing.

Just let it grow and grow.. when its like to ur eyebrows,, go say u want it like that guy.. take a pic.. then theyll fix u up.

I think it's a nice look. It's sexy in an understated way. Give it a shot--if you don't like it, you can always cut it later. Good luck to both of you!
