Does anyonce know of any products that has worked on their scars? I just had surgery 9-2-05 on my foot and would like to find a good scar eliminator before they start to heal.

Hey, Jasmine...I had a surgical scar about 2 years ago that I used Merderma on. It definitely helped (for me)  to minimize the scar and keep it from having that "raised" look. Although, it didn't totally eliminate it, I only have a faint marking left. ~hth~

Try those silicone strips.....they're amazing. 15 years ago, I paid $200 for enough to cover my breast reduction scars and they worked like a miracle. Nowadays, they're much less...like $50 for the same amount. They come in strips and you apply them with surgical tape.

I wish I still had a memory...you'll have to google it: silicone scar reduction strips, something like that.

Good luck.

Mederma works well for surgical scars but you should know that it has a bad smell. But if youre more interested in the appearance of your scar then i wud say go for it

I don't know about acne scars, but isn't a scar a scar...... I do know Syren is right on.... Those silicone sheets  (which are cheap today, compared to when I bought them) do work miracles.... Remember constant contact.... only remove to shower, then put them back on.... something about them that astound the surgeons...

Good Luck

I'd try them on all scars.... let us know about the acne ones........ Give them one month to see difference....
