The supplier tells me this:

* This hair can be put on machine AND hand-tied wefts. Weights
would be as specified, typically 4 oz per weft in lengths as
requested. Typical lengths are 18", 20", 22" but can go longer or
shorter.

* Multiple colors can be made into tips or put on the wefts and
blended together equally. Example; White, #613 & #22 would all be
blended. They seem to understand what I mean by blended (not
streaks or chunks).

I'm hammering out prices with them now but there's very little
charge for this custom work. To give an idea but it's not confirmed, it
looks to be around $119 - $129 per 4 oz or 100 grams which is the
same price as about an 18" weft of Bohyme. If there's any custom
color blending or lengths beyond 22", about $10 extra for that.
They've already quoted me two conflicting prices but this is the
general ballpark.

I have ordered from them before and gotten shorted when I was
supposed to get a full 4 oz and received 100 grams (3.8 oz) so I am
relaying that these shortages cannot happen. They were very
apologetic and offered to exchange so they seem to understand that
it can't be a future issue.

If there's any questions, please post them here so I can answer for
everyone. I will also take photos of each color on the ring and make
a color chart so it's available to see. I won't be able to do that until
the middle of next week when I'm off work.

What lenghts will you keep in stock?

What Colors in stock?

Will you be takeing specialty orders for custom blends?

Color rings?

Hmmm...I think that's all for now!

Edit: This info all applies to pretips

What lenghts will you keep in stock?

18", 20", 22" unless there's a big interest for something extreme either way.

What Colors in stock?

Everything eventually but possibly not all the fancy colors like lime and orange and the obscure stuff. It might take a little time to build inventory.

Will you be takeing specialty orders for custom blends?

Yes. I'm going to first order something that isn't common, like say a #4 & #10 and see if it's done right.

And with the wefts, I'm going to place an order for some containing at least three or four colors and see how they follow instructions. (I hope that doesn't sound demeaning. I just know with the language barrier problems, some suppliers have chunked & striped colors together instead of blending. They say they can do that too if requested.)

Color rings?

Absolutely.

Ok, so the ball park for prices you quoted above, how does that translate to wefts vs pre-tips. You said it would probably be for about 4oz of hair, so what would be the price difference be between 4oz on the weft or 4oz of pre-tips? Hope that makes sense!

So, a month, eh?

I defer to you. I'm at a month of wear and it's holding up beautifully for me but maybe a week or two more so we can see how it wears for the others?

Please excuse me if this was mentioned before, but what type of hair is this? Remi or like Bohyme?

It's remy.

how many pre tips in 4 oz are there?

100 tips per bundle which is 100 grams/3.8 oz.

re: prices on wefts vs tips. Won't know exactly until the order is placed. I can say it doesn't look like it'll be a big difference.

In the interest of full disclosure and because some have asked - this hair is not sleek straight like Bohyme. It is when first installed but it has texture and volume. Lots of it, too. I compare it to this:

It irons sleek and smooth but this is more of how it looks au natural with a little blow drying and product.

so is this hair closer to european hair, ie: thinner density compared to a "ethic" texture such as indian or african american?
