I know RK ulimately got the thumbs down. Just curious if anyone ever wore or has an opinion on the Single Drawn?

hi gina....i think somebody mentioned once "only use single drawn" lol when buying RK...maybe in this thread where there are tips for care:

http://www.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=33445& amp;KW=RK+hair&PN=0&TPN=2

for the record i will say i've been wearing bonded wefts with rk (i assume double drawn - i bought some of Amm's leftovers) in #27 and #12 and it is somewhat persnicketty hair...but i cannot emphasize that it is about 550 x better, more manageable, softer, and better looking than typical BSS crap. i'm only used to BSS crap and plastikhaar, so i was pleasantly surprised. the link about has some tips that i think have totally worked for me including don't look at it sideways when wet, let it airdry (maybe a diffuser would work also), the olive oil, i think the humidity also makes a difference. i live in humid TN and it's cuh-razy some mornings - i went to iowa recently and it was like.....where did this manageable hair come from haha?

i'm rocking a she mullet right now cuz i didn't put in quite enough. i just got a titch more so i'll post some pics later this week.

for the money, maybe i have low expectations, but i like RK. could be worse.

Hi Gina.
I bought it and wore it once. Single drawn remy, 20" #4. I didn't like it at all and took it out after 1 month - back to double drawn. The hair was not nearly as strong as either of the double drawn batches I have worn - it would break, got lots of splits, and DID tangle. But maybe it was just that particular bag. I still have 3 bags of it if anyone's interested (sure, after that review!).
This double drawn I have in now is absolutely the bomb.

Hey Cheryl, you need more hair to fix that mullet, you say? I could toss you some RK but you'd probably have to color it.

you are super sweet holly -

amm hooked me up so i'm good now. i am good with the demis making darker, but you are right going lighter is problematic (*i stink with bleach*). in the future i have high hopes for lush on the weft...but if you ever want to order some RK together in the future i'm your girl.

i guess the secret is starting with BSS hair that feels like brillo after one wash. the rk is a dream after that haha.

okay kewl.

I am reeeeeeeeeally happy for you blonde gals that amm seems to have the line on some great blonde hair. It's been a problem for a long time. I've been suffering right there with y'all with the bleaching/breaking/brillo problems. But I have a new appreciation for beautiful blonde hair cuz now I know how really hard it is to acquire and maintain.

And I will say that those long blonde installs are SMOKIN' HOT.

I'll send you a bag if you wanna see what it's like. Like I said, I only tried one bag out of the four I bought. The others may be better. It's 20" (pretty sure) #4. If you like it, keep it. If not, send it back to me.

And just for educational purposes, here's a pic of the hair - 20" remy single drawn hand tied weft, #2 and #4:

I shouldn't complain. It's nice hair. Very soft. The wave is from being folded up in the bag.

Hi Syren, I am interested in the 20" remy single drawn hand tied weft in #2.  Do you still have it?  If so, how much would you want for it?  And do you have 1 or 2 packs?  So many questions!  Sorry x
