Hi,

What a great forum! I've been lurking here for a while and can't resist joining in.

I've been wearing prostyle extensions (attached by fusion) for just over a year now. I mainly wear them to cover my hair loss on the top of my head(as a result of medication). These prostyle extensions are currently at shoulder length.

I've been wearing Hot Hair (synthetic) 16" clip ins for a couple of weeks now to give me some extra length. These blend really well with the prostyle on the top of my head to give me a great long look. The only problem I have with them is that they are getting really tangled at the ends and look pretty frizzy. I'm using lots of spray conditioner on the ends, but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

Doesa anyone have any experience of Hot Hair extensions? I'm considering making my own clip ins next time, although I think I might have trouble with the colour match. Is there anywhere that makes up hair to a specific colour match?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Gill welcome to the board. I would suggest checking out plastikhaar. You can get custom wefts made with any colors of your choice. And Sara is a doll and a complete charm to do business with. The plastikhaar would blend perfect with prosytle hair since they are both monofibre and the colors can be easily interpretted to get a good match!

Thanks for the advice Sherrie. The plastikhaar site looks great - and much cheaper than Hot Hair.

I've just ordered 4 bags (blonde, satinblonde, winterblonde and weizen) from the ph site. I think I might try doing pinch braids for this install.  Of course that means I'll have to spend the next few days practising on my doll head before the hair arrives!
