Does gel make hair fall? Is it good or bad?

about 50-100 hairs fall out per day and that's normal... I think as long as you don't consistently get gel in your scalp, it should be fine.

I apply some every day. Is that bad?

I think as long as you wash it out often, and don't get too much in your scalp, it should be fine. Lots of people use gel every day without problems.

What would happen If I don't wash it out for more than 2 days and apply lots on my scalp?

Build up from gel can clog the hair follicles and cause hair to break and fall off. If you use gel everyday, you need to wash and condition your hair at least every other day, and use a clarifying shampoo or vinegar rinse like Anais does at least once a week. A good gentle and affordable clarifying shampoo is Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two. Is is great and won't dry out your hair. I love it.

Actually did u know that many gels have coconut oil? That's supposed to be good but i think what may cause any form of hairloss is alcohol in it.

Can shampoos also clog the hair follicle? If so, would switching to a
clarifying shampoo help take care of that?

Nothing applied to the surface clogs the hair follicle. The problem is buildup, in this case from applying layers of stuff and letting it dry on. The worst that can happen to the scalp itself (barring chemical sensitivities, of course) is that it may get very, very icky.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
