QuoteReplyTopic: Tying Down Hair Posted: September 21 2005 at 10:07pm
Hi everyone I am new to the site so I would first like to say hello to everyone my question is does it matter how you tie down your hair for example. . . When I tye down my du-rag I also tye down my ears so that my sideburn hairs will lay flat does that matter? I'm scard to not tye down my hair like that because I think it will effect the wave pattern but at the same time after awhile I feel a little bit of discomfort because my ears are pinned down. . .any suggestions
ur du rag is NOT gonna effect ur wave pattern in neway. brushing makes the waves, not the du rag. if ur feelin discomfort, jes do the obvious and take ur ears out from under the durag. if ur side burn hair is sooo long that they noticibly stick up, maybe u need to trim them. but it doesnt really matter how u wear ur du rag, but if it is uncomfortable, then, sumthings gotta give. if ur so bent on having ur ears covered... possibly becuz of habit, try wearing a head band then tying ur du rag around it.

1. Since you feeling some discomfort you should stop pinning your ears back.
2. Try trimming your sideburns so you don't have to worry about getting them to lay flat.
