Has anyone tried this for pretiping?
The Ultimate Tacky Glue
The Ultimate Tacky: A high performance glue formulated especially for hard to glue projects. Adheres to plastic, metals, vinyls, fiberglass, wood, fabrics, ceramic, glass, leather, paper & more! Eliminates the need for a glue gun. Dries fast and clear. Gives a flexible, water resistant bond. 4 fl. oz. bottle. All of Crafters Pick products are non-toxic and water based.
I picked some up at Michaels. It sets-up really quick, looks a lot like Aleene's tacky glue.
Wondering if anyone had tested it for long-term use...shedding, etc.
Outside of glues actually made for hair, the best thing I've used so far (and I've tried a LOT) is contact cement. Tacks fast, holds great, dries clear, and has enough tooth to the surface that shrinkies won't slip off like they seem to do with nail glue for me. It's dirt cheap, too.
I tried one of the craft glues (Aleene's something-or-other), but I had
a hard time getting the tips to actually stick together. I've
tried contact cement but never installed the tips I made with it.
However the price was right ($3), and it made solid tips.
