Emma if your hair is bleach then coloring is your best bet (color back to natural color) IMO you have to wait for the bleached hair to grow out and gradually cut it off.....I could be wrong but ??????

If you hair is bleach blonde you can go back to your natural color by a process known as a TINT BACK, which involves using a filler or pre-pigmentation color before you go back your natural color. The purpose of the filler is to add back in the underlying pigment into the cortex of the hair so the color has something to grab on to...otherwise if you wanted to go back to brown and you just purchased the color and put it on without a filler.....B00M you would end up with ORANGE hair .....ACK!!! By filling the hair you add the underlying pigment which if your going to brown you would fill in with RED then apply the brown color to return back to your original color.
This is a type of service you might want to pay for in a salon because many of your over the counter filler products as Sally's, etc tend to leave the hair brassy. At a salon they would fill you with a red color like for example Goldwell 5k or 7K if you were going to brown then apply the color. I've even noticed some of the Goldwell Pre-Pigmentation colors which have replaced the traditional fillers tend to leave the hair brassy so I prefer the old way of mixing the filler....the color is more true that way and the results are better.
Have this done at a salon if you can afford it....if you can't find a cosmetology school in your area...check to see if they have a master colorist and if they do that would be your best route....as it would probably cost you $20 - $30 tops...versus $80 and up at a salon depending on your hair length it could be as high as $150.
