I use those metalless bands. I really like the Vidal Sassoon ones that
don't have any metal or glue and they're not too tight. Scrunchies are
probably safer because they don't have any rough parts or metal parts.

I used to use the pony tail holders with metal until a girl I worked
with told me they would wreck my hair :(So now I use those snag free
elastic bands. The ones that look like rubber bands, but aren't :)
Theyre so small I can carry them in my purse. I actually wrap them
around my ID when I go to a out cuz I don't want to have to fumble
around in my bag. At home though, I just use a big fabric scrunchie.
You know, the kind that you make out of material and some elastic?

Aseya, are u really all the way in the UAE?!! i have
those non metal elastics,, now i actually use just a
scrunchy not doubled and 1 elastic not doubled and
it hold it all in place...

This is gonna sound crazy- Sometimes I use a thigh high(with no match) or the leg of a pantyhose, if they had a run in them I just cut them and tie it around my hair and push it back like a head band and tie it in the back.

adore Arabic music and i've really gotten into it lately i
have all of Elissa's cd's im OBSESSED,, and im
learning belly dance ,,maybe its the Indian from my
moms side lol i dont know.. but I hope to visit Egypt
or some part of the Arab world at some point...

dubai has awesome jewelry particularly gold and cothing material and stuff liek that. my mom goes there a lot. uh....what was the topic question again? uh yeah i use anything that doesnt have metal on it. or pantyhose thingys. i also use black ribbons too

Lebanese!! anyway I LOVE LOVE LOVE her music,,
and i even learnd a miniscule amount of arabic,, my
favorite song is Aayshalak( i live for you) i think lol,, i
think shes probably among the most famous arabic
singers in the world,, she even performed with sting
anyway im just in awe of arab culture,, the jewlery
the music i think because the melodies are so
