I read on the web that safflower oil is a
humectant, has the highest amount of essential fatty
acids of any other oil ,, and its very similar to
sebum,,, it beats out olive oil,, so i went out to buy
some yesterday( its cheap ,, i paid 4.59 for organic
safflower oil for cooking 16 oz) i used some in my dry
hair ends and it felt so supple and its really not
greasy unless u use a load of it,, it gave my hair a
look as if if just brushed it,, anyhoo if ur interested in
it go to google and use search term- safflower oil
hair,, sorry i cant get the link now.....
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

Thanks for sharing. I'm looking up some info on this oil now. I wonder if it has to be organic? It hard for me to get organic stuff because the nearest store is like an hour away.
actually,, u know i doubt if it has to be organic,, i
hadnt read that anywhere and i checked quite a few
web sites,, i actually came across one on
hairboutique (from my mobile,,thats why i cant get
the link,, my cp is impossibly slow),, i only read tat its
the kind u cook with,,, i guess u could just get the
one from the supermarket,,, i really like the way this
made my hair feel and i used it for 3 days now and
havent seen a split end since but b4 monday i saw
quite a few,, dont know if its truly the oil but it def
makes my hair feel good,, efa's are a componant of
hair itself......
