Found a site with pictures to help you (easier this way then it is for me to try and make sense of my normal ramble...) for products... honestly I suggest experimenting :) Hope this helps, post pics once you do it!

(EDIT: You can try manga head by garnier that's fun to play with. And um... Don’t know if what I posted helped you, but happy experimenting :) Hope all goes well. If you need more help you can try hitting the cosplay forums, most of them have pretty good JRock styling tips.
