Hey, I I had low lights down about 3 months ago and they have mostly faded now. But my hair is still very much a darker blonde then it was before. I dont want to dye my hair. So I was wonder if their is a toner that would jsut give it a cooler tone and make it a little bit lighter?   And exactly how damaging are toners? Thanks!

If ur hair is on the more orangey side u should try a blue toner, it's more yellowy, then use a violet toner. I don't think using a toner w/ 20 vol. should cause too much harm on ur hair.

no, not really.. putting a toner on top of your current haircolor will only make the hair darker.

I'd suggest that you instead try to fade your current toner/lowlights using Tide washing up liquid and a lot of deep conditioning.

Then once the hair is lighter again, you could tone once more using a very light blonde toner.. Diffrent toners cause diffrent amounts of damage, I'd suggest that you get a semi permanent one without ammonia to avoid unneccesary damage.
