Hello ladies.

I finally got the roller set I've been talking about.  I went to the salon and I was scared for some reason but the lady was really good.  The first thing she asked me was, "Is that all your hair?".  Then she got on me for wearing a ponytail holder cuz it causes breakage.  I gotta have my ponytail holder though!  Anyways, she used Keracare products which ended up working really well.  I've never used that line before but I think I might start.  My hair came out soooo shiny, w/o any oil or anything added.  It is still shiny and it's been like 3 days.  I'm lovin it.  Heres some pics......http://public.fotki.com/Pokahontas/roller_set/

Next time I'm gonna try and do my own.

God Bless!

Your hair looks gorgeous. What size rollers did they use?

Thanks so much all of you.  You all are the sweetest girls.

@afrolatina.....They were really big rollers, approx. 1 1/2 inch barrel, purple in color.  For some reason my curls shrunk up into semi-loose ringlets after a few days.  I guess since my hair is naturally curly....that's the only thing I can figure because when I was relaxed my hair always got straighter as the set got older but now it just gets curlier but it still looks great.  That Keracare stuff she used was awsome.  The curls that are in my hair now (which is 4 days later) are so much smaller than the curls were when she took the rollers out.  It's so weird to me. I don't know if that makes sense or not.

I think it makes sense since curly hair shrinks.  I think the results are beautiful.  Your hair looks shiney, healthy and bouncy.  I may have to give those Keracare products a try someday.  Question: When you wear your hair naturally curly, how long does it last before you have to re-wet your hair?

Thank you.  I usually re-wet everyday or every other day.  No matter what I do it's usually a little frizzy and flat when I wake up so I freshen the curls up with a little water or sometimes just some Carefree curl and go.
