GoTTi's  Wave Method

When I first started in the wave game, I didnt even think I could get waves! I had had braids for so long, i didnt know the first thing to tell my barber when I got a cut.

so when I got one...it was cool...no waves tho...but cool. I didnt know how often to go to the barber & didnt have much money to keep a steady routine, so I would let my hair grow out a little & tell my boy to shape me up every once and a while.

MY METHOD 

1.Now I had a alright grain of hair to begin with... so the first thing I did after my hair got about an inch long was get a fresh shape up, and put in some DAX Wave and Groom Hair Dress pomade in it. I chose that particular pomade because it was so thick, and could hold longer.

2.I needed a thick pomade because I didnt do much brushing at all! In fact.. I just used my hand. That may sound silly to some of you, but, I would get a normal size amount of pomade & rub my hands together & put it in my hair.. and RUB BACKWARDS INSTEAD OF FORWARD.

3. after that, I would du-rag for at least and hour. When I took my du-rag off, I had waves, but they were CURLED BACKWARDS.

4. I reapeated that process for about a week and then I got a soft brush and started brushing forward.

5. Man I started wavin up QUICK! After a while I barely used DAX pomade .. I tried something different that had just came out.. THIS PRODUCT WASNT INTENTIONALLY MENT FOR HAIR, BUT HAD MANY VITAMINS IN IT AND COULD BE USED ON HAIR, WITHOUT A PROBLEM.

6. the product is called BABY OIL GEL, and can be found at most drugstores, like CVS, ECKARDS, WALLGREENS, RITE AID etc.

7. Baby oil gel changed my life! It had a strong hold on my waves, laid them down, made them shine better than ANY product I have ever used then and now, and it was loaded with vitamins.

I would brush forward for about 1 hour, twice daily, baby oil gel, and du rag...sometimes I would spray du-rag with water (if needed).

BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE THE BABY OIL GEL METHOD...AS WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCT, MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY 2-3 DAYS, AND CLEAN YOUR FACE GOOD.

wassup yall? no input on this method¿ does anybody agree/disagree? try it yet? wouldnt try it? would try it? dont leave me hangin now.

it sounds good to me i would try it but baby oil gel nah man that aint for me once that stuff touch my face i will start breaking out like crazy man but if it gives you shine then thats different i gotta see if i can go get that.
