Hey all ... I'm new to this forum but someone told me it was a great place for hair info. I'm mixed and while I love my crazy curls (super fine corkscrews prone to frizz and breaking ... is that 3b?) I need to look a little less scary spice from time to time. I need a flat iron that can handle this mane but do as little damage as possible in the process. I've heard about Sedu, Solia, Chi and Hai but most of the recommendations I've had are from white friends with hair that seems virtually straight already... at least relative to mine ... and I'm not sure they can relate. Any suggestions?

I have a thread "Great results from Maxiglide" that you can check out (if you haven't already).  IT has a review of the Maxiglide flat iron and pics of my curly hair flat ironed with it.  Beleive me, that iron is the truth!
