What about if you do the Off the Track bonding, and then Sandwich it with liquid gold? would be amazing if you could not se the bond at all:D Do you think you could do a full head with that?

My hair is bleached platinum about 2 inches, and fine.. any advise?

Have you tried the wefts without the weft? Not bulk hair, but they call it seamless. I got some at Super Hair Factory and used the blueliner tape and it came out good.

Wefts without a weft??? Are you talking about a skin weft like this:

Sherrie has had some great luck with sandwiching wefts together with LG. We were just talking about it a week and she had shared some great pictures. I looked for that post and I couldn't find it anywhere for some reason... it seems to have totally disapeared and I'm the one who started the post... very weird.... Maybe Sherrie can find it or repost some of her helpful pictures. I believe she did a full head of them and was at 9 weeks of wear.

Gah....I cant find it either Kristin...I searched for 15 minutes! That is weird! Where is Jenny....she always knows right where every little bit of information is at!

I will look for it again this afternoon when I get home from work. I do have several pictures of the LG/Weft install. If you look in the extensions 101 thread there is a link to the sandwiching tutorial...better yet...heres the direct link http://p080.ezboard.com/fhair18356frm6.showMessage?topicID=1 076.topic

Ooh kelw! i tougth about doing the Off Weft method with LG and then do like sherry and have a small layer and gluing it over (sandwich style) maby it would last longer then the regular off weft method? i also tougth about cutting the weft in two pieces with a razor so that you get two wefts of one...i have weary fine thin hair xD

Huggels to all

Sherry, I just went to that link you provided....

OMG  great job. You can't even see the weft at all!!!

so,  is your hair sandwiched inbetween 2 wefts and then did you put a thin layer of your own hair (glued) on top so you couldn't see the weft?

Ok well, after I get this straight I definately want to try that one.

What hair is that? and where is the best place to get it?

Skye...thats just one weft glued to the part area then a thin layer of hair sandwiched over the top. But for thickness, my current install I actually glued two layers of weft together (doubled the thickness) and then installed with the sandwich method...and it really didnt add any bulk.

In those particular pictures that was RK hair. But I would not recommend the RK hair in light colors...it was a real tangly, matty mess. But the darker colors of RK did get somewhat better reviews.

Thanks Sherrie,

So far, who seems to offer the best quality hair in these seamless/skin wefts?

Do you add the tape? Or is it already on the hair when you order it?

What glue did you use to glue your hair on top?

I personally dont have any experience with the skin wefts so I will let someone else chime in on that.

I use Liquid Gold glue for weft bonding. And I use standard machine wefted hair.

Oh a standard weft...well you did a great job!

I have used both standard and hand tied wefts several times. Do you think what you did would work as well with the hand tied weft (is there enough weft to glue?)

Does this method damage the your hair?
