Absolutely I was medium brown as a child, blacker through my teens,
and now my hair is getting lighter and lighter. In the end I'll end up reddish
blonde rather than grey.
My hair sounds rather like yours Dave (but with more strawberry/red). I was absolutely snow white blonde as a little girl though....and now I think my un-henna-ed hair would be described as dark blonde with reddish glints. I do have alot of greys at the front of my head now though
Mine too. Mine was yellow when I was a kid, with a little
white. Around 17 it started turning brown. At least it
always looks brown in the mirror. I think it looks lighter in the sun.

My hair color has changed in the same way as Dave's has, except that
mine started going darker after i was 6 years old, it went brown and
then back to medium blonde.. Now it's ashy/blonde/brown.
Yep. Mine was very light blonde until about 5 years ago (age 33). It only varied between ash and gold tones depending on the time of year and how much sun bleached hair wasn't cut off. It now appears to be growing in a med. ash blonde......not that I let it get far enough to tell for sure.
