Has anyone seen the new commercial by Pantene? They are now marketing a shampoo/conditioner line made for "winter protection". I saw the commercial yesterday and thought of this thread

Sunsailing, I've seen that commercial!  I wish I trusted Pantene products more though.

As for the frozen hair thing, it's happened to me before and it's not pleasant.  Fortunately, mine never broke off, but I wouldn't suggest chancing it to anyone.

We didn't see that.  We like Pantene, so we'll be looking for it.  Thanks for the heads up.

Welcome back, Strawberryfine!  Even though your avatar pic is small, I can tell that your hair has grown longer.  Yay!  (I use tinypic, FWIW)

Good idea to protect that wet & damp hair from the freezing cold, gossipqueen!

Sunsailing, I haven't heard of (or seen the ad for) the "winter protection" line of products.  I'd like to know specifically how and why they make their claim that it's better than other company's products.
