I have in the stuff listed in the Pro-tac kit.

The bottom two rows of underlayer is #2 and the rest is #6. I put two layers of weft in the Pro-tac and it's very comfortable... but heavy. The only thing I would do different is not double the weft on the last strip installed in the very back. Ya can't tell but I can feel it's too much of a ledge on top.

Amm...when you double up the weft, do you put one right under the other...looks like your pics show two wefts, but I don't know if I'm imagining it.  I actually glued the wefts together for my top layer and then installed with the tape...I hear ya' regarding a "ledge" feel.

Amm, I have a couple of questions - how many rows did you install in total?  And when you removed them, was the tape easy to get off the wefts or did it leave a sticky residue?  Thankyou x

I always sew my wefts together on the sewing machine before installing.  When I sew them, I try not to sew them one on top of another, but rather sew one below the other one.  It cuts down on the bumpiness.

krs, I think you can see it pretty well on the 1st pic in this thread. I have the wefts in two separate pieces and the second one is placed just a little lower than the top one so they don't create too much of a rise when put in -- just like metal explained except I didn't sew them first.

emily, i have in about 5 or 6 rows in the back and two rows on the sides. The removal was very very easy. It took about 3 oz of remover to take everything out. It was *extremely* gooey and the tape was (for lack of a better word) like snot. Once the remover was worked in, the wefts slipped right off. It took about 25 minutes to take everything out.

amm when you say in two separate pieces, do you mean

2 seperate wefts with the tape?

or 2 wefts using 1 tape?

i am assuming its one tape for 2 wefts am i right?

Im an avid LG bonded wefts user and also switch and do either preglued fusion or shrinkies. And the more I do individuals, the more I like the weft installs. So much quicker and seems like I can get more hair on my head with weft install by doubling the wefts. (Also seems more undetectable to me too) I just ordered some pro-tac strips to try with my next install. But I am curious to know if the glue residue is hard to get off the wefts after removal? Will I be able to get the gooey residue off the tracks well enough to reuse them?

If you take them out with conditioner you can just pull the strips off the weft, just rub rub rub and work the conditioner in and then pull, it takes a bit longer to get them out, not a lot longer though and there is absolutely nothing left on the weft.  When I took my first lot out with the orange oil remover it kinda dissolved the strip and made it like snot (sorry that's all I could think of to describe it lol) and it was all gooey on the weft.  Also you don't have to rewash when you've taken it out with conditioner cos you just pull off the strip and then rinse it in the bath, with the oil you would have to wash the hair again to get the oil and goo off x
