When u are brushing ur hair do u apply pressure or let it kinda jus glide across ur hair when brushing?

i apply pressure,to me it seems like i get more too tha root wen i do that

When I apply pressure with a hard brush, it seems like my waves are messing up so I let it glide. But I apply pressure with a soft brush.

I APPLY PRESURE TO IT CAUSE MY HAIR IS CURLY AND CURLS UP FAST
