76 degree fractionated coconut oil- is basically describing how it is processed and stating that it melts at 76 degree room temperature or higher- it is solid any other time but can be melted down with ease.( I actually pop my gallon jug in the microwave for 6 minutes and that does the trick- stays liquid for a few hours to a few days depending on the temp.) It is not extra virgin which remains liquid at all times- i like it and it works great on my hair. Hope that clears it up a little.

I buy Organic extra virgin coconut oil from a healthfood store. It's a good size jar for about 9.99 ..also comes in solid form. I normally just scoop out the amount I want and warm until melted, then apply to hair. I love it and it's light enough that it doesn't weigh my hair down at all.
