Halle Berry is of course gorgeous. Her face is beautiful, her body is sexy, she looks fantastic in that white dress.
Her long hair is terrible. Long, stringy, awful looking hair. She looks good despite her hair, not because of it.
Halle looked so much better in a short pixie. It isn't even close.
Women as beautiful as Halle, with her lovely feminine features, really don't need long hair. It just gets in the way. Especially long hair as nasty, stringy, awful looking as her hair in that photo.
She will go back to ultra-short hair again. Most of the truly beautiful, feminine women who have worn short hair and look wonderful in it, usually do eventually go back to wearing a short hairstyle that they look adorable in.

I never said anything like that Kramer. Messageboards work better for people if you aren't snotty to others. I was simply stating my opinion, as you did.

Why wouldn't I live with it. I don't even know Halle. I never even met the woman. I don't care how she wears her hair, it's her hair, not mine. I just believe she looks better with her short pixie hairdo. I was just expressing an opinion. No need to get in a snit about it.
By the way, Halle, for whatever it is worth, doesn't wear long hair. Those are extensions.
Regardless of that stringy awful long hair, does Halle ever fill that white dress nicely! She is so pretty too. What a sexy lady! Even that hair can't ruin her beauty.

Wow, three responses, including two that required editing. Are you through, Newbie? The fact is, your comment, "Halle looked so much better in a short pixie. It isn't even close" elicited my terse response. Your comment doesn't exactly make it seem like you're open-minded about the topic. Are there any women you prefer with long hair?
And, seriously, does this look like a woman who "looks good despite her hair, not because of it."
Looks like they just dragged her out of bed without letting her fully wake up, or shower, or anything. Then they put her in a wind tunnel to make sure she'd look all stringy and unkempt :-P . Poor thing, having to see that pic all over magazines and billboards and whatever else. . .
Ha, agreed Kuroneko! (although she does look gorgeous in that white dress, despite the hair).
Kramer, Of your links; The top photo of Halle in long hair is dreadful, probably the worst photo
I have ever seen of her (her hair in that photo is the worst. The dress
leaves something to be desired as well. Even her face isn't as pretty
as usual. About the only good thing in that photo is her shapely body,
but I have seen better photos of her body also).
The other long haired photo isn't bad, but not
as lovely as the other two photos you showed (the ones where she had
mid-length hair) that you mentioned were your favorites.
Halle simply looks better in mid-length hairstyles or in short
hairstyles than in long hair, (as most beautiful ladies do, only a few look
better in long hair. Long hair on women is overated. I know the lady I
am with is a short haired doll, and would look nowhere near as good in
long hair as she does in her short adorable 'do).
Some may agree with my assessment of long haired women, and mid-length and short haired women, and some may not.
Either way, I don't care. It is just a personal opinion on hair. To each their own preference on such matters.

I don't think there's any reason to suppose that Halle Berry is really sporting short hair right now. She went through a normal growing out period about two and a half years ago and she's been pretty consistently long ever since--though, of course, she undoubtedly wears extensions sometimes. Tony Braxton, on the other hand, really does maintain her short style while making use of lots of wigs.
