Well as I have posted before, here in Nebraska we are pretty limited to the extension methods that are available. I have been wearing clip ins since may and absolutely loved them. I just hated taking them in and out everyday. Thanks to this website I have become so educated that I have been actually educating some of the local hairdressers about what I have learned. Anyway after much consideration I decided to get great lengths put in instead of the Pro-tac. I was able to get a correctable application (three bundles worth ) and paid $950.00 installed. She did a great job and I really love them. The pro-tac method would have been $800.00 and they were more required more care and didn't seem to be as long lasting. THank you all for all the information that you post here.

I live in Nebraska, too, and thought that there werent many places here that do extensions, but found out that I was wrong. I live in Lincoln, and know that there's a handful of places here that do them, and know there's many more in Omaha.

Glad you found a hairdresser! :-) Now you just need to post some pics!

Everytime I've done extensions, I've just done shrinkies on myself, and it's worked like a charm.... not to mention I've saved plenty of cash going that route, also.

Good for you, but how do you figure that going the pro-tac way would cost you $800.  It should only cost you less than 200 if you ordered all the supplies from www.shrinkies.net and then you could re-apply yourself?

Would love to see pics, glad you found something though.
