Mayonaise makes a great conditioner for dry hair. Use once a week. Take a dollop and put it in the palm of your hand. Then work it in your hair, for at least five minutes before washing. The egg and other ingredients in it do wonders. If you could leave it for an hour, it's even better.
It isn't necessary to wash dry hair every day. It will wash out your hair's protective oils. If you must make sure the shampoo is for dry or damaged hair.
If you have dry hair using a conditoner after shampooing. will have great benefits. It glues the cuticles back to the shaft while lubricating. The conditioner prevents static electricity, which creates frizzies.
Two of your main sources of damage, are your curling irons, and electric rollers.
Wear a hat on windy days. The whipping winds can fry your hair, like a piece of fabric. A hat will also protect your hair from the sun, The sun will cause your hair to dry out more. One round of quick snips every six weeks will keep your ends under control.
