I noticed that when i grow my hair out for long periods of time that the hair @ the crown of my head grows extremely fast way before im ready to get a cut, this was a problem because the hair wouldn't lay down properly and looked unkempt.
Solution: If it gets like that before im ready to cut my hair I just trim that part down a little bit not too much becuz I dont want it to look like its thining.
Hope this is useful to sombody.

its because of your brushing. because its almost impossible to hit the same spots every time at ur crown. sometimes you brush a part that usually goes forward backwards making it stick up(really noticable when ur hair is longer). yeah, jes touch it up a bit w/ the clippers and itll be fine.
