I have been doing some reading on the forums about S-curl wave activator, but I just found out that the Luster brand is targeted for those of African American descent.  I am an Asian male with straight hair, about 2 inches long, gradually getting shorter on the bottom (growing out of a military cut), and I am looking to put a little bit of curl in the tips of my hair (primarily in the front and sides).  Would this product work for me per its intended use?  If not, is there anything else that can do this?  Thanks.

Looking at the ingredients in this stuff, no, its not going to curl your hair.  Its pretty similar to conditioner and its purpose is to moisturize hair that is already curly, making it softer and the curls more defined.  There is nothing in it that will give straight hair curls.

To curl it, you will either have to use hot curlers, a curling iron, small braids done wet that will be wavy when they dry, or a perm.
