Hey everyone,
do you guys know if it's possible to get this type of hair ( http://thecia.com.au/reviews/w/images/war-of-the-worlds-7.jp g) for an asian. We tend to have thicker, straight hair. Also, can someone confirm my guess that Tom Cruise's hair is about 2 inches long and heavily textured?

you are correct. I'm Viet, and I had that type of hairstyle for a while. I would get it cut the way you described it, put on some Joico Ice Spiker or some other type of hair wax, and sleep on it. in the morning, fix any little detail that you need. It all should work out.

it will be hard for asian hair to be like that coz the hair tend to spike up when it is less than 3 inch long.

you can follow the hairstyle either by softening your hair using relaxers or you can use wax, i mean a lot of it to prevent it from spiking.

or you can grow your hair longer until it lies flat they try to emulate tom cruises style with extra length.
