I'm not really sure. I suggest that you make a topic in the Men's Hair section. They'd be able to help you, considering S-curl is a men's product.

I think you have to have a texturizer in for the s-curl to create curls HTH

You can get curly hair without a texturizer, if your hair is short enough.

Start with NATURAL hair, wash with a good conditioning shampoo (at the time I used it, CREME OF NATURE for DRY hair worked really well).

Add SOFTEE SUPER FREEZE hair gel, the clear one. It's important to put the gel on WET hair and brush in, it will curl on its own. If your hair is short enough, you won't necessarily have to towel dry it first because it doesn't drip water like longer hair does.

It's cheap enough to try (4.00 or so for the LARGE container). You can get it at the Dollar General Store, or Walgreen's....but I think Walgreen's only sells the smaller container.

It works on longer natural hair also, but it's sticky (hated having that on my neck) and it takes so long to air dry....if I washed my hair at 7 am, I'd be LUCKY if my hair was dry by 4 pm. All of that sticky hair on my neck all day....yuck.

I like my hair long, but I also loved this style for the summer time. It felt so good to not spend a long time doing my hair and also the air on my neck. Woo!

Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!
