Should i get sum Scurl wave gel activator

I read some vet methods and user posts and it said that if your hair is too straight for waves, then you can get some s-curl wave gel activator. I was wondering if this was the right choice, and also if someone could post some info about it (what it does, and how to use it perferably)

me,i have nappy hair naturally,and the wel jel made my hair lay down real good,but the trick to usin it is u have to put some pink lotion in before u put the activator in,now this is just me but it did my hair justice
