hello. my natural haircolor is black. my hair is currently med-drk brown (color treated) and i want to be a light brown. i am planning to colorfix my hair and then apply a dark ash blonde with blue base to my hair because my hair will be super-porous and orange by then. Is this the wrong thing to do? i know you all will probably suggest i use a demi-perm but i have some white hair. i am a little skeptical about doing all this. i have color fixed my hair before and added a light brown to it to at least get a true medium brown but it came out darker than i expected. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions or anything you think i should do instead. It would help alot. All i want is the actual color i have been aiming for because i never seem to get it.
It will come out darker you are right. If it was me, it is what
I'd do too. I've tried to get a light brown (currently same as
yours) too, but I Colorfixed and put on Light Ash Brown - as you might
have guessed, it went WAY too dark.
I think it's the right thing to do as long as you can get the medium
drown light enough, and as long as you do test strands and like what
you see.
Good luck
