Its hard for me to get waves on my sides!

Thats a picture of my hair a few months ago...its kind of still the same.
When i go to the barbershop i get low evens..i dont really know what cut to get that is best for waves.

Anyway..i just tried the h20 technique a few minutes ago and its working..but the left side of my head is just not coming through..any other techniques or things i can do to fix this proble,?

LOW CUT EVENS ARE WHAT I GET BECAUSE MY WAVES ARE DEEP ANYWAYS AND THEY STAND OUT MORE THE LOWER MY CUTS IS BUT ANYWAYS JUS KEEP BRUSHING I THOUGHT I SAW A LITTLE BIT OF SUTIN SUTIN UP DERE BUT KEEP BRUSHING AND LOOK AT BRUSHING INSTRUCTIONS JUST TO GET A FEEL ON WAT TO DO A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I MADE A DISCOVERY ON THE SIDES AND HOW TO MAKE IT WAVE UP QUICKER TO HAVE BOTH SIDES 360 U HAVE TO BRUSH DOWN BUT U CAN BRUSH ANYWAY U WANT TO

yea my mom said she saw a difference when i started brushing a different way..she thought i had gotten haircut..

when u brush spend more time on the sides. what type of brush r u using?  just keep doing the h2o meth on those areas
