QuoteReplyTopic: Hair to the middle of my back Posted: September 22 2002 at 7:31am
I am in the process of growing out my hair. It is to the middle of my back right now. I want to let it get longer, Until i am happy with the length. Can you give me any tips on how to keep it healthy? Any good shampoos? I don`t normally blow dry it, nor do I put much stying "stuff" in it. I will take any advice that you all can give. Thanks
I just measured it, its about 25-26 inches from my crown. Its not really accurate, but my husband is not home to help me ;)
For example, If it`s thick/coarse I recommend putting neat shea butter on the ends.
If it`s dull, than I recommend a dilute cider vinegar rinse after shampooing.
As for shampoos, I am a fan of the Kerastase range (see www.kerastase.com). The "Bain Satin" (satin bath) shampoos leave my hair feeling as soft as silk, clean and yet strong.
If your hair is dry, use shampoo only once a week and in-between shampoos, try the conditioner-only wash method.
