I recieved a mail from a possible client, who have just finished chemo therapy, today.

She have her lenght still, but it has been thinning out a lot.
Between the long hair, she have small babyfine hairs that are growing out.

What method can I use to get volume again to her brittle hair?
Or should she wait until the small hairs have grown out a couple of inches?

Thank you .

I agree with Moff and Tangles.  Those chemo drugs do a number on the hair, and when it starts to grow back in, it's very fragile.  Often times it won't  be 'anchored' into the scalp as well as it originally was, thus it can't take the weight of an extension.  Last thing we want to do is to pull out her newly growing hair.

That is what I told her to, and said that I would research and get back to her.

What about that cap (?) where you pull your natural hair through and anchor the extensions to the cap?
I don“t know what it is or the name, but I remember someone mention it one time at this forum?

A search in the topics here didn“t help me much on the area.

A hair integration piece?  Those can be attached with microlinks.

Metal: Thank you. Do you think she will be able to wear a integration hair piece?
