What method do you all use (main one) and how long roughly does it take for you to install a full head including the final cut and style?

Im about 3 hours with fusion, 4 hours with micro-rings and 1 1/2 - 2hrs with pre-bonded hair.

My best time so far is 4 1/2 hour with shrinkies and 220 strands.  I do not rush through or anything...I provide beverages and breaks for the client. It sounds like a long time but it flies by as usually we are having a great time yaking etc... Oh, also, I usually do some EM strands around the temple areas for better camoflauge.  These take a little longer to ensure a good bond.

This is a definite improvement over when I first started so I anticipate getting quicker!

It's really interesting to know everyone elses method and time.  Fusion is my favourite method but i have just started using the screw type micro-rings (i know i am way behind you all)

I was amazed how using pre-bonded hair and a fusion wand cuts your time! Although that said, with fusion i am used to judging and mixing myself which its the only downfall ive found with using the pre-bonded hair.

Iv'e been using fusion method for nearly 5 years so i guess its always been what ive known.

To do my own hair, it takes me about eight hours and I usually have about four different methods installed in my hair at one time.  I need bigger mirrors and better eyes.

It takes me about 7 hours to do my own shrinkies install. About 6 hours for pre-glued fusion. About 2 & 1/2 hours for bonded wefts or 1 & 1/2 for pro-tac tape!  Not including cut...since I dont like to cut until AFTER I wash the first time.

On someone else. About 3 & 1/2 hours for pre-glued fusion. 4 hours for shrinkies. About 1 & 1/2 for bonded wefts.

i used to be a strictly sew-in kinda girl. on average, those took me anywhere from 1.5 - 2 hours depending on if i`m using a closure piece and how high up i`m going.

but now, i`ve fallen in love with the silicon microrings. i use those on the bottom & back and then shrinkies on the sides and tops because they`re less visible and i have less risk of burning myself . since i`m still a beginner, that`s about 5 hours for me to do, and that`s JUST the install. i don`t do cut since i always have some part of it up anyway .
