this may seem like kinda a weird question but i need to know is it bad for your hair to like flip it over and brush underneath it with a brush(like a boar bristle). i have alway done it beacause it thought it was good for my hair and that it added volume but my friend said that it was damaging?

Nope.. it's not damaging (as long as you detangle your hair first with a comb)
