How long to wait before you re-dye?

I just dyed my hair from light brown to golden blonde, and it turned out nice but a little too "golden".  The color in itself isn't that bad, but in addition I missed one spot on the TOP of my head and it's pretty noticeable when I pull my hair back.  So I would like to re-dye it a non-golden color and I wonder how long I have to wait?  The first dye job was only 2 days ago.  Also I'm wondering if it will bleach my hair out completely to put blonde dye on top of blonde dye?  I want a more natural look than that.

I decided to just go for it.  I put on the dye but only kept it on for 20 minutes.  It looks fine.  Yay!
