Hi everyone!    I was just at sally's and I purchased ORS Olive Oil and I noticed the ORS shea butter lotion.  I am thinking of going natural (right now I am five months post) and I wondering if anyone has tried it?  You get more for you money than the Olive Oil and it smells sooooo goood!  I was tempted to buy it, but I didn't.  Anyone tried it, if so, how did you like it?

I have tried, both relaxed and as a natural and unfortunately I didn't like it.  For one, shea butter is way down on the list.  It didn't provide enough moisture for my thirsty hair, it was like I was applying wax.  It made my hair hard as I don't know what.  I wouldn't recommend it for those with thirsty hair, no matter what state your hair is in.  But I remember a girl with fine hair that likes it.  Different strokes for different folks.

Sorry so late...I use/used it and I like it. I usually use the ORS Shea Butter Lotion like right after I shampoo and condition my hair and either let me hair airdry or blowdry it. It left me hair soft actually even after coloring and I was shocked. I also use it to oil my scalp while wearing weaves. As a matter of fact I need to go get me some more LOL. But yeah its a good product, the same for the Olive Oil Lotion! HTH

I can only speak for the Olive Oil Lotion but it's really good, I don't hear so many good reviews about the Shea Butter though.

I can definitely agree on the olive oil. My hair is natural now and I use it after I blow dry my hair and it make it soft and provides the right amount of moisture.
