I'm considering doing the conditioner only washes once a week and using shampoo once a week (I wash my hair twice a week). I've never done a conditioner wash before, but I'm willing to do it to keep my hair from drying out.

Anyways, today I bought a bottle of Suave Milk and Honey conditioner. I don't typically use Suave products, because their shampoos are kinda harsh for black hair (IMO), but I figured the conditioner won't be so bad.

Has anyone used this product? How would you rate it?

I liked the scent of the Tropical Coconut conditioner much better, but I liked the ingredients in the Milk and Honey better (well, "ingredient" is a better word....it had Jojoba oil in it).

After reading all of you guys' recommendations, I'm so going to be a product junkie again!

Also, if you have a recommendation for a better moisturizer than the Pantene oil moisturizer, let me know! I like it OK, but I'm always looking for something better. Just keep in mind that I've tried Pink and Optimum, and hate them both.

I especially want to hear from Phoenix and Pokahontas, because their hair is so awesome and is what I'm aiming for!

I love Suave Conditioners for my CO Washes.  The ones I use are Milk & Honey, Tropical Coconut, & Humectant.

VO5 Strawberries 'n Cream is also great!

Oh, this conditioner has "Milk Protein" in it, which I'm hoping is good...sense I don't really deep condition with a protein treatment.

Suave conditioners are good, but I mostly use VO5 and White Rain conditioners. I recently tried VO5 Moisture Milks Honeydew Smoothie, its great and it smells like candy!

First of all thank you for the complement.  I've heard good things about the Suave Milk and Honey but I haven't tried it yet.  I have like 7 bottles of Daily Defense Tender Apple to go through first, lol.  That's what I use for co washes and it works very good for me. I've heard a lot about VO5 strawberries and cream for co washes also.

For moisturizers, my favorite store bought one is Cantu Shea Butter.  It really made my hair soft.  The ones I use now are bought online at Oyinhandmade.com and Qhemetbiologics.com. HTH

I'm currently using Suave Milk and Honey for co-washes.  It's in my rotation and I'd heard raves about it from recommendations on this forum. Thanks ladies... It makes my hair soft and it smells so good.

I also use V05 mosturizing conditoner with pathenol for split ends. It surprisingly makes my hair feel soo soft. I have naturally very dry hair.

I tried the milk and honey and I did not like it.  I think it was the protein, the  gel that I use in my hair has protein all ready so that may be it.  I LOVE the humectant conditioner though, it's great!  After reading this I'm going to have go out and buy some V05 and White Rain conditioners now too! LOL.

I've been using Capilo Milk and Honey Rinse for my CW. It works pretty good.  I tried VO5 and liked it a while ago. I think I might have to pick me up a bottle.
