I just bought a drawstring pony and a half wig for some variety in my protective styles, and I was wondering, those who use them, how do make sure your hair is protected underneath?

I apply the baggie method when I wear my phony pony.

I use the baggie method...also my Fake afro puff hole was actually too small for my shrunken afro puff.  I took the string out and pinned the area where the draw string was located around my puff, also I did the baggie method to make my own puff small enough for it to fit over.

Thx for the tips... do you use the baggie method with your regular leave in cream or something different?

No problem!  Actually it was my first time using the baggie method. I just used a mixture of oils. However, I have read some forums where people mixed conditioner in it. I might try it this weekend.  Let us know how it goes.
