Yes the gel above smells good too. I dont know if you have tried any of garnier's products but the all smell pretty good...
After washing I towel dry my hair and then apply gel while its still really damp... Next day I dont really need any products but by the 2nd day post wash I will spritz my hair with water and then apply a lil more gel....

DAAAAAMMMMN! that's pretty cool!! i don't have to write it down..i have the picture of the bottle in my head already, Essence...I really hope it smells good...
I was looking for some type of holding spritz that would do just as you're describing...does it have a nice fresh citrusy smell?
One girl sprayed a Clairol Herbal Essence Spritz gel in her hair..it smelled so good...any recommendations? something that might last a while?

I use this gel by garnier and I love it! It does a great job of
holding the curls but not leaving the hair to hard and crunchie I normally spray the gel into my hands and the apply to hair...

essence what type of gel do you use? i have two types..one is a spray, actually from redken called fresh curls..i use it only in case of emergencies..my natural length is about shoulder length - shorter in some places..
i used to have my hair permed and used the "zigzag" weft, naturally curly to fill in those shortened or thinner areas..i tried the "fresh curl" on it..it was nice except, whenever my hair fell onto or near my eyes (even though i wore it off the face), it caused irritation.
I'm using the pantene scrunching gel extra hold..and i don't have a problem..plus it smells very nice..
the length is 16 and 18"..it's kind of hard for me to go out in public - people stare and want to play in it. thank gawd it's very soft, so they think it's my hair -..when i received it, i didn't think it would be so long, due to the spirals..
going from a shoulder to a mid-back length in one day...i just tell the folks whom i know that it's extensions..then i show them my own hair which is a good length anyway..if they are THAT curious..

it was custom..and came up to about $400+?..i never asked cheyne how much it would cost..i do know that what i've ordered in the past came pre-packaged because it wasn't processed..and certainly didn't cost anywhere near the custom stuff.
she said they used #7 and #8 rollers..i don't have a scanner..but it came out looking really nice..My beautician seems to work better if you have a closure piece..i had two laying around..one was straight, the other was a natural curl..so we used that..my boyfriend really loves it..he said the style suits my personality...carefree, a bit on the wild side, but not too wild and low maintenance..
I've seen some of my beautician's spiral styles that are weaves..if the client doesn't have enough hair in the front, and they want a "part" look, it comes off looking more like a wig..
with a closure piece, you can place the part, anywhere you want..
That sounds great! Do you have any pics of it? I did not
know they offered that type of curl pattern. Did you have to
custom order that?
I wear curly hair alot..... I always finger comb. I normally
spritz it in the AM with water and then apply gel.... For
sleeping I use a satin bonnet. This makes a difference.... If it
is REALLY long then u might consider braiding it up as well...
HTH..

from extensions plus...they have, in my opinion the best hair that i've ever bought,..believe me, i've gone to His and Her Hair, The Hair Factory, Afro World (in missouri), stuff from New York, Chicago..
I just bought spiral perm extensions (16 and 18 inch length) on machine sewn micro wefts...it looks great..
but because i had been ordering from them for so long, they didn't send any instructions on maintenance..they've been getting busy lately, and it's hard to talk to a person..
Any instructions on how to wear it for sleeping?should i braid it before putting it in my satin bonnet? or will that make me lose the curl pattern? i'm using a light conditioner/water mix on it..and run my fingers through it versus combing..
