There is an interesting photo gallery on AOL's People Magazine site showing a series of celebrity makeovers. They ask you to vote on what you prefer. In nearly every case, the voters went with shorter hair vs. longer hair and blonde hair vs. brunette hair. Even though she's got fake teeth, I've really come around on Hillary Duff. She looks fantastic. I hope this link works for you, even if you don't have AOL.

By far the best makeover was Sharon Osbourne. She looks great with the honey colored angled bob.

Funny no one has reported this until now. her new look is pretty different from her burgundy spiked look.

Wow, I thought Sharon Osborne looks dramatically worse with this new
cut. It's almost matronly, except off-center, and doesn't capture her
funky, fun personality nearly as well as the old style (which I now
realize how much I like). I don't often say this, but to me it's just truly
bad.

The voters agree, I think - something like 95% preferred her old style.

Brittany Murphy looked a lot better long.

I'm with Curlyfan on Sharon Osbourne; her new look is age-ing and wig-ish.  I thought her old hair suited her really well and looked just brilliant.

I agree, Sharon Osbourne rocked with her short spikey burgendy hair. Now she looks boring, and older!
God Bless,...

Actually I think it was reported in December.
