QuoteReplyTopic: what is you hairs personality? Posted: October 02 2002 at 8:35am
I noticed in one of the recent posts where some one said that they were convinced that thier hair was alive, I totally agree. Not only is mine alive, but it has a personality too. Mine is a morning person, but really lazy (won`t hold styles unless hair sprayed to death, which I don`t do any more). My hair is also selfish, if I don`t treat it like a princess, it wont behave or cooperate with me.
What is you hair personality?

My hair has mood swings. Sometimes, it is angry and becomes nappy in fury. Then there are times that it behaves like a good child and stays in place. Then when humidity hits it, it curls up in frustration. But if I don`t feed it when it`s hungry, it`ll dry up from starvation. But I still love it though. :)
Dead things are discarded by the living. Hair has a living root and carrys electrical energy down each strand. I am a more "switched on" individual when I have longer hair. It is sensitive stuff but not in a touchy-feely way. More in an intuitive, spiritual way.
If hair was dead, the body would discard it and it would decay and rot.
Hair is a mystery...who knows why only in humans it grows so long on the head?
A mystical text I was recently reading said that "hair is the growth of the mind", in another place "hair is the radiating out of spirit from the seat of wisdom in the head."
Fascinating stuff.

My hair tends to be a smart arse. Whenever I want to fix it to go out somewhere it won`t stay fixed, nor will it be "easy" to be fixed. When I am at home, just playing around with differnet ideas, it works Wonderful!!! I get so frustrated.
I recently just bought one of the bun-o-matic thingies. I really don`t know what the real name is, you just stick your hair in it, roll it up and clip it. Well, the bun doesn`t work so well for me, but if I leave it in for a few hours, and take my hair down, I have WONDERFUL looking curls on the ends. I have even left it in overnight. Just a thought to those who want a little fix but nothing too hard or fancy.

My hair likes to be noticed and complimented. It loves getting wild and curly in wind and humidity. However, it can be moody and a trouble maker. At times like that I try to braid it into submission. It also loves to be conditioned, moisturized, and pampered. It can be very snooty and tempermental when not taking care of and pampered properly.

My hair & I have never gotten along very well... you could say we`re longtime rivals. Its very curly but very fine, and tends to just get frizzy and tangled and wild (not in a good way) regardless of what I do with it. I just got revenge on it tho...I cut a bunch of it off, and now it seems to have been beaten into submission. MAybe we can be friends again! :)
If I had wings then I could take you in I'd stay on the ground and show you some things The grass is strewn with blades of gold all sights and sounds I have been told all hopes, desires, seem to sing
