Champagne that could be true but also, the stylists needs to look at the actual hair before making their decision. For example, Mr. Dwayne here...he may be a stylists but he has not seen the hair on each individual on here, therefore he can judge without seeing it. I beleive some stylist don't even know what a split is...when I was relaxed I use to air dry my hair and my hair appeared big and thick. That is the style I wanted at the time. My so called stylists at the time assumed all of my hair was split because it was so huge and demanded that I come to her to get a relaxer. I've seen this in various locations in the country from various people to various people...some may have great intentions but others don't.
Oh I wasn't disputing that a trim should be based on the individual. I know my hair dries weird when I do it myself back in the day. So it would look extra big and poofy.
