controlling colors for that light of a blonde to help remove warmth would be blue-violet based colors or Pearl shades. As you lighten hair it always pulls warm. You could try some Pearl or blue violet shade with 10 volume mixed with some shampoo and conditioner in equal amounts on a test strand for 5 minutes and then rinse it out and blow it dry to see if it toned out that unwanted warmth. If it worked in a small spot then do it on the rest of the areas only where it's brassy. Don't do it on the haircolor where it's already ok.

It looks like your have several different shades of blonde throughout your hair and it's darker near your roots so it appears some of that needs to be lightened up a little to match the rest of your hair as your roots are still darker than the rest. But first try to remove some of that warmth with what I mentioned above on a small test strand to tone done that brassiness.

G'luck

Hi Anitan,

Your hair looks amazing!  The color is so pretty. That is close to the color I am trying to achieve.  What did you end up using?  I had a toner put on my hair on the last hair appointment and liked the color, but it only lasted like 5 shampoos and then went brassy again. She used a clear toner because I had toners on my hair before and didn't like the results ( last summer she used one and my hair was too ashy)  I am thinking I will need a violet toner on my next visit to tone down the warmth. Did you do it or are you still going to the salon every 6 weeks?  How is the health of your hair?  It looks really soft and shiny but did you experience any damage/splits/dry hair after you have finally achieved the color you want?  Did you end up trying the Loreal Shine Blonde shampoo?  I think I made a mistake and told you it would keep your hair a warm blond - but it just keeps it nice and bright.  It's purple so it kind of acts like a toner, but you should only use it twice per week.

Talk to you soon!

Noelle

Thank you! well..i basically went and re did it at a salon.  i explained my situation and she just put highlights all throughout my head and she used the blue bleach (blue colored) bc the other place didnt which didnt get as light either. and then just left it on hardly 20 min and washed it out.  She useda little bit of toner but didnt leave it in my hair just usedit while washing my hair.  Im very happy with it ..dreading my hair coming out tho but im used 2 it by now lol

Hi Anitan28!  I love the way your color turned out!

I know this is going off the subject of hair color, but, you mentioned in a previous post that you are a make-up artist.  I think your foundation looks absolutely flawless!  Would you mind sharing what brand you use?  Do you also use a pressed or loose powder on top?

Thanks so much!
