Hi,
I'm from Germany and I'm half asian/european and I have the typically asian hair.I would like to know how I can get my hair shiny and silky because I want to let my hair grow quite a bit , and dry long hair doesn't look good at all. I'm looking for something that is maybe not so expensive and which you can buy everwhere(Conditioner and shampoo?) Please, I need an answer because I only can see here tips for long, female, asian hair.
Thanks

You'd be surprised - gender doesn't make a difference in hair care. Instead, it's the length that matters... What length are you growing towards?

To prevent dryness:

  • Don't use heat styling tools
  • Air dry, don't blow dry
  • Condition your hair (possibly even twice)
  • Avoid gels that contain alcohols
  • Wash your hair with a shampoo that contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate as the second listed ingredient, because it is a gentler cleanser than the other possibilities. (Avoid Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) The harsher the cleanser, the more moisture and oil it removes from the scalp and hair. and the drier everything will be.
  • For shampoos, I can recommend: Suave Professionals Color Care Shampoo, any of the L'Oreal Kids line, Paul Mitchell The Shampoo
  • conditioners: Giovanni Direct Leave-in, Suave BioBasics, Finesse

Hope this helps

you can always read up post on men's hairs talk. they do have some great advices on hair.

hmm german asian, havent seen that combination yet.

by the way, if you are comparing your current hair with hair you see in magazines or television you are in for a shock !!

these models/actors/singers have a team of hair specialist by their side. even though it looks natural and shiny, their hair has been sprayed, iron, curls, spritz, gel, blow dryed and dyed to perfection to achived that natural look.

but if you know what type of hair you have and you are being realistic in what you want for your hair then anaisatin tips are the rule to follow for great hair

p.s

dont forget water, fruits and vegetables promoted healthy hair too

another p.s

i used to used only sodium laureth shampoo but i love head and shoulders menthol even though it has ammonium laureth sulphate coz its cooling and it get rids of my dandruff

then use a blow dryer on a cool setting, blowing it from the root of hair to the tip.
